If you use BT broadband then some good news could be coming your way later today.
The firm has a major event taking place at its HQ in London this morning and there could be some major updates being unveiled.
Although nothing has yet been confirmed, we expect some possible upgrades to BT’s broadband service with faster speeds being beamed into more homes across the UK.
BT already offers its comprehensive Complete WiFi system and some customers can now access downloads at over 100Mbps but things could be improved further over the coming months.
And, with Virgin Media recently announcing its latest speed boost, it’s likely that BT will want to fight back with its own news.
The big event begins at 9am today and express.co.uk will be there to bring you all the latest updates live as they happen.
Although we’re still waiting to hear what updates are coming today, BT has recently revealed new parental controls are arriving on its Smart Hub 2.
This will allow users to manage their family’s screen time by simply pausing the internet at home or scheduling which devices can be online at certain times.
BT says that up to 15 different gadgets can be controlled via this update with customers able to manage their homes via a simple touch of a button on the MyBT app.
Customers eligible to use Wi-Fi Controls will need the latest version of the MyBT app and a Smart Hub 2 updated with the latest firmware.
